Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to inspect the effects of using the Internet (chat) on INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS among internet users of university students. In this paper, the theories of some pioneer scientists on social INTERACTIONS such as Giddens, Peter Blau, Homans, Weber, and Habermas have been used; besides, the conceptual framework is consisted of Masoud Chalbi's "Interaction Theory" which is based on Parsons' AGIL theory. We have tried to embed the concepts and variables altogether in order to evaluate the causal mechanism of using the internet (chat) and its effects on the INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS as dependent variables. This survey and the necessary information are gathered through a questionnaire. The statistical society, of which we have sampled 300 students, consists of the students of Azad Islamic University in Roudehen, Iran. The sample was selected through Cochran formula. The data of this paper is analyzed through quantitative analysis methods including univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis, regression and path analysis. All data analysis was performed with the help of the 19th version of SPSS.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to analyze the behavioral dynamics in digital learning environments and examine INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS within these spaces. This is a qualitative study based on semi-structured interviews. Data was collected through interviews with 31 participants selected from Tehran. Participants were purposefully chosen based on their experiences with digital learning environments. Data analysis was performed using Nvivo software and thematic analysis. The results revealed that INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS in digital learning environments are influenced by factors such as types of communication (verbal and non-verbal), collaboration and co-thinking, competition, and differing opinions. Additionally, technical issues and challenges like the inability to maintain focus were identified as significant barriers. Active participation in online discussions and group INTERACTIONS improves the quality of learning. This study indicates that effective INTERACTIONS in digital learning environments can lead to improved learning processes and strengthen social relationships among learners. However, technical issues and an inability to maintain focus can negatively affect the quality of learning.

Abstract:

Background: The quantity and quality of interaction are critical elements of perceived INTERACTIONS. This study aimed to summarize findings on the quality of INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS in E-Learning at higher education and suggestions that inform future measurement efforts. Method: The scoping review proposed by Arksey and O'Malley (2005) was used. This approach consists of 5 steps: 1) identifying the research question, 2) identifying relevant studies, 3) study selection, 4) charting the data, and 5) reporting the results. PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science have searched three databases, including manuscripts in English. The search was conducted from 2000 to July 2021. A PCC (population, concept, and context) was used as eligibility criteria and included the most relevant. The present PCC was defined as a population: university students, context: higher education, and Concept: E-learning and INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS. Results: This review includes twenty-five articles chosen for inclusion. With the thematic analysis, the results of this scoping review are presented in the form of four themes: interaction in the online environment affects learning outcomes, numerous factors affect the interaction of learners in online settings, online interaction and hidden curriculum, and the importance of forming an online learning community. Conclusion: Findings showed that the quality of INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS in e-learning seems to be a neglected link in e-learning. Further studies are needed focusing on the quality of INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS in e-learning. It is necessary to develop appropriate tools to measure the quality of INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS and further evaluate these INTERACTIONS at the international level.

Thus, the current research tries to assess the effect of sociocultural factors on the social exclusion of women prisoners. Methods: The method used in this study is survey-correlation research. The statistical society of this research is the female prisoners of Yazd and Shiraz cities. Due to the limited number of women prisoners who have been imprisoned more than once, a total of hundred eighteen prisoners were studied in Yazd and Shiraz. Results: The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between social exclusion of women prisoners and stigma, alienation, and gender discrimination. (P <0. 05) The regression results also supported the significant effect between stigma and social exclusion of women prisoners and twenty-seven and seven-tenths of the variance of the rate of social exclusion of women prisoners is explained by the stigma variable. Conclusions: Women prisoners who do not follow the norms of society are more alienated, face more gender discrimination, suffer more stigma. Therfore meet more exclusion from family, relatives, and friends. They face more obstacles and limitations for their emotional and material needs, presence in society.

Abstract:

Background and Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the predictive variables of emotional distress and their relative importance in patients with breast cancer. The aim of this study was to determine the predictors of emotional disturbance variables and their relative importance in patients with breast cancer. Material and Methods: The present research method was fundamental in terms of purpose, descriptive and exploratory in nature, so a high sample size was applied. The sample was among the patients with breast cancer who referred to Shohada Hospital in Tajrish, 736 patients, 19-to 80 years old people with breast cancer who referred to the hospital during the first 8 months of 2019. Whole samples were selected but screened based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Then the psychological scale of self-empowerment skills, INTERPERSONAL interaction quality scale, and emotional turmoil Scale were administered to assess participants. Results: The results showed that self-empowerment skills, quality of INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS, age and head of household status showed a significant relationship with emotional turmoil. More precisely, it was found that the variables of the quality of INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS and self-empowerment skills have the greatest impact on predicting emotional turmoil, respectively. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, it can be said that INTERPERSONAL relationships, self-empowerment skills and demographic characteristics of patients with breast cancer play an important role in the emotional distress of patients. Therefore, it is suggested that psychologists pay special attention to these concepts in monitoring the mental state and improving the mental health of patients.
